Coordinated and delegated design efforts across all of Product Strategy at Cloudflare, including Registrar, Spectrum, and Cloudflare for Teams. Led design for Cloudflare for Teams, from initial concepts to MVP. Hired and manage a team of 3 designers for the Austin design team, while continuing to build out and scale design practices, principles, and culture across Cloudflare.

Participated in running DesignOps for the Product Design Team, which included facilitating a Team Health Check, Retrospective, and process research. Ran hiring efforts and focused on growth of the design team in the Austin office.

Worked with a team to integrate RMN's Cash Back program into our core product suite. This included running A/B tests to understand how users perceived cash back, then building out educational aspects within our platform to address those needs. Additionally, I pioneered the Accessibility Group at RMN. Our first priority was to bring awareness and education to accessibility and inclusive design across the company. Partnering with cross-functional groups, we rolled out accessibility improvements to our products, including updates to our color palette, tab order, and focus states.

Led the design team in charge of creating the assets and deliverables for Carbon, which included managing and maintaining our documentation website, Design Kit, and individual components. Wrote usage guidelines and best practices for each component in the system. Worked with Carbon’s Developer Lead to plan sprints, roadmap for product releases, and prioritize future work. Helped launch Version 7 and Version 8 of Carbon, including a website re-brand, open source announcement, and release strategy to align with our product teams. Drove adoption of the design system across 40+ teams globally.

Worked amongst a cross-functional team to improve the workflow for IBM Cloud’s service teams, who build integrations that live on our platform. This included improving our existing onboarding flow, creating a style guide, and making small incremental improvements to our internal tooling. Additionally, I led Design Thinking workshops with our product teams to align on priorities while also educating on the value of design.

On a team of 2 designers, we worked with clients to understand their needs from a users perspective. Specializing in web and native mobile apps, our design team would collaborate with engineering to rapidly build concepts for an MVP, then share those with our partners. Our clients ranged from retail firms to judicial companies.

Worked directly with Art Directors and designers in creation of design elements and interactive objects within ESPN.com. Projects ranged from graphical headers, to photo illustrations, to prototypes for the iOS7 release of the SportsCenter iPad app.
